Job Description – Audit Senior Assistant
As a Statutory Auditor / Audit Senior Assistant at Deloitte, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting audit engagements for global clients. This role involves working with onshore and offshore teams, applying auditing standards, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assigned tasks within project deadlines
- Apply Deloitte Audit methods, tools, and best practices
- Build strong relationships with onshore US audit teams
- Provide professional and ethical audit services
- Ensure deliverables meet Deloitte’s quality and compliance standards
- Supervise junior staff and guide them through different audit stages
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI (mandatory)
- 0 – 5 years of experience in audit / statutory audit (mid-tier or Big 4 experience preferred)
- Knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, UK GAAP, IFRS
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to international clients will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
