Job Description
Wipro is hiring for UK Taxation & VAT roles. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing VAT and tax reporting, compliance, and audit support for European countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract VAT payable and receivable data from SAP ECC/S4 HANA.
- Prepare and post VAT/Tax journals, reconcile VAT sub-ledger balances.
- File VAT returns and manage VAT compliance for EU countries.
- Support VAT audits and liaise with internal teams, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Review invoices and documentation for correct VAT treatment.
- Ensure metrics, KPIs, and SLAs are achieved with high accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve open items independently.
- Implement improvements in VAT processes and risk management.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in UK VAT/Taxation
- Proficiency in SAP ECC/S4 HANA and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of IFRS
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in a multinational or professional organization
- Ability to work in UK shift timings
