Job Role: Executive – Accounts Department
As an Executive in the Accounts Department at Micro Labs, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations, maintaining accounting records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical sector while applying their accounting knowledge in a corporate environment.
Role & responsibilities
Apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements.
Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
Ability to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems.
Ability to provide solutions to problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Monitoring and tracking pending invoices. Addressing and resolving payment discrepancies, disputes and billing issues Maintaining accurate records of customers’ payment history and debt recovery efforts.
Managing internal and external debt payment questions and enquiries. Knowledge of Collection Activity.
Effective business writing and professional communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn SAP
Ensuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms Chasing overdue invoices and payments via telephone and email Creating weekly debtor reports and accounts information for internal departments Keeping detailed records of collection activities and conversations
Preferred candidate profile
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of financial statements
• Customer facing experience.
• Good communication skills. Language skills as needed for the customer base.
