🚢 Job Description – Marine Claims (Skill 1)
-
Handle Marine claims management including Demurrage, Cargo, Import/Export, Port operations, Marine Insurance
-
Review contract terms, documents, events, and prepare claim calculations
-
Follow-up with 3rd parties and issue invoices for receivable claims
-
Monitor aged claims, outstanding items, overdue invoices
-
Work with customers & affiliates for claim-related queries
-
Ensure submission of claims within contract timelines
-
Identify process improvement opportunities & contract issues
-
Maintain control reports and compliance
-
Support operational deadlines & maintain data accuracy
🎓 Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration preferred)

3–4 years of relevant marine/shipping/logistics experience

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Strong analytical and contract review skills

Understanding of marine terminology & operations
