Job Description/Skills Required
Role Summary:
1. Qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
2. Candidate should possess strong communication skills with 7/8 years post qualification experience in core accounting and finance.
3. Age between 32-35 years.
4. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Indian Accounting Standards (IAS), Tax compliance, VAT/ GST requirements, Company Law matters, RBI & FEMA compliance. SEBI regulations, transfer pricing regulations.
5. Act as secretary to the Board of Halcyon Capital Holding Co SAOC and Kitara Capital Limited DIFC.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
1. Providing all administrative support and guidance to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer
2. Ensure all regular statutory returns are filed within the stipulated time.
3. Responsibility for ensuring compliance with all regulatory laws applicable to the Group.
4. Maintaining the statutory registers and accounts in compliance with the various laws applicable.
5. Overall management of direct and indirect taxes including payment of taxes and filing returns.
6. Handling RBI and FEMA compliances
7. Handling VAT/GST compliances including returns refunds and audits.
8. Oversee the audit for the group and ensure regulatory timelines are met.
9. Preparation of budget and monitoring of Income/Expenditure in line with budget and company policy.
10. Monitoring loan covenants and their compliance.
11. Providing MIS as required by CFO.
12. Monitoring cashflow and managing day to day cash requirements.
13. Based on the regular monitoring of the regulatory regime ensure that the structure is tax efficient and compliant.
