Job Description/Skills Required
- Establishing a Regulatory QA function, define procedures and policies for Reg. QA team
- Partner with Regulatory Reporting Team to establish guidance on Internal controls and repository buildup for Key Data Elements (KDEs) of different regulatory reports
- Engage and work with Regulatory Reporting Team on Fed Exam and Internal Audit – remediation testing
- Work with Reg. Reporting Team to build and review Risk Assessment on Reg. Reports
- Test Controls for design and effectiveness
- substantive testing back to source documents
- Data quality checks to confirm validity and consistency of data attributes
- Review working papers to ensure all documentation is in accordance with professional standards
- Oversee and review testing performed by Lead Regulatory Reporting Analyst and Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Analyst.
- Communicate issues, assists the first line of defense with remediation plans creation, and confirm remediation plans are adequate to comply with professional standards.
