Role Overview
The Branch Operations Manager (Branch Operations Head) is a critical leadership role responsible for managing and controlling all operational activities of the branch. The role ensures smooth daily banking operations, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, audit management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Administration
-
Oversee day-to-day branch operations including cash management, clearing, transfers, ECS, RTGS, NEFT
-
Supervise account opening, customer servicing, FD/TD operations, and teller activities
-
Maintain branch cash balance as per Cash Retention Limit
Compliance, Audit & Risk
-
Handle Internal and External Audits and resolve audit observations
-
Monitor AML alerts, exceptional transactions, vault registers, and office accounts
-
Ensure adherence to banking rules, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures
Customer Service & Complaint Resolution
-
Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints within defined TAT
-
Handle escalations from CRMS, Phone Banking, and Banking Ombudsman
Business Support & CASA Growth
-
Support CASA acquisition and ETB (Existing-to-Bank) growth
-
Drive MDAB growth for CA & SA accounts
-
Achieve cross-sell targets through tellers and FDOs
Team Management & Development

Lead, train, and develop Tellers and FDOs
-
Ensure team certifications in risk, fraud prevention, and banking regulations
-
Review structured visit reports and team performance
Required Candidate Profile

Minimum 4+ years of banking experience

Strong knowledge of branch operations and compliance

Team handling and leadership experience
