Genpact Accounts Payable Job Description
The selected candidates will be responsible for handling day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, invoice validation, payment processing and resolving invoice-related queries.
Candidates will also be required to coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues, ensure invoices are processed accurately and support process improvement initiatives. Good knowledge of Oracle ERP is mandatory for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable professional will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and processing invoices.
- Checking supplier details, PO information, bank account details, invoice number and invoice date.
- Validating invoices before processing them for payment.
- Releasing invoices for payment accurately and on time.
- Ensuring pay runs are completed within agreed timelines.
- Following up on invoice-related issues through calls, emails and tickets.
- Resolving queries according to Accounts Payable process guidelines.
- Supporting initiatives to reduce repetitive helpdesk queries.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Following internal compliance policies and operational guidelines.
- Performing daily checks and audits of invoices and queries.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders when required.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is mandatory.
- Candidates must be B.Com or BBA graduates.
- Commerce graduates with relevant AP experience can apply.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work from the Hyderabad office.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a US shift.
