Job Description/Skills Required
Knowledge of the following areas:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations such as GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, including the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the organization’s growth objectives.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and recommend improvements as necessary.
