Qualification Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified or Inter Qualified
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) Qualified or Inter Qualified
- Professional qualification is mandatory
Experience:
- Minimum of 9 years of work experience in finance controllership
- Experience in finance planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a multinational corporation (MNC)
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting basics
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage various tasks in parallel
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams
- Ability to handle stress and work under tight deadlines
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Financial Controller at Capgemini, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Finance Planning and Analysis: Conduct detailed financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure that financial plans align with business goals and objectives.
- Invoicing and P&L Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of invoicing and other profit and loss (P&L) numbers within your scope of work. Monitor financial transactions to maintain financial integrity.
- Project Management: Handle project creation, invoicing, accounts receivable (AR), and work in progress (WIP) independently for all engagements under your scope.
- Accounting Operations: Manage all accounting operations, including billing, AR, accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Data Consolidation and Reporting: Work with multiple teams to consolidate data and provide comprehensive financial commentary. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Stress Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Maintain flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with business and finance colleagues to achieve common goals. Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork.
