Job Description/Skills Required
- Drive month end closing process
- Review monthly schedules and GL codes to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting
- Assist in statutory financials preparation and facilitate audits for the areas assigned
- Assist in IFRS financials preparation for group reporting and facilitate audits for the areas assigned
- Conduct a thorough review of GL balances on a monthly and yearly basis with reasoning to help understand numbers better and correct errors, if any.
- Stay updated on any statutory or accounting changes announcements made and assess its impact on the books of accounts
- Well versed with Accounting Standards and Companies Act requirements
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with databases and the ability to summarize large volume of excel data
- Advanced excel skills, working knowledge of other Microsoft applications
