Deloitte Consulting India Pvt Ltd is seeking an Associate Analyst for Payroll Processing to join their Financial Services Group – Payroll and Personnel Solutions service line. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in payroll processing, reconciliations, and statutory deductions, looking to enhance their career in the finance field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Process payroll inputs for both regular payroll and full & final settlements.
- Reconcile investment declarations and proofs, ensuring accurate income tax deductions.
- Analyze payroll transactions for compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle timely remittances and filing of returns for statutory requirements like EPF, PT, TDS, LWF, and ESIC.
- Assist with audit, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest payroll and compliance guidelines.
- Develop and maintain payroll process documents to ensure compliance.
- Secondary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders for timely and accurate payroll inputs.
- Validate and review inputs for employees, addressing any discrepancies.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with PII guidelines.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting/HR
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in India payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, SAP, and advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of India tax and statutory compliances
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in data maintenance and regulatory compliance
