Cognizant is conducting a mega walk-in drive for experienced AML/KYC professionals with 3 to 10 years of experience in financial crime prevention, transaction monitoring, and alert investigations. This is a great opportunity to join a leading global IT & consulting company based in Hyderabad.
💼 Job Responsibilities:

Review system-generated AML alerts related to Sanctions/PEP lists and perform thorough investigations to identify potential money laundering risks

Analyze alerts and decide on necessary escalation or request for additional customer information
-
Write comprehensive analysis reports supporting decisions on alert resolution
-
Communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams to gather required information
-
Stay updated with procedural changes and implement guidelines in investigations
-
Manage alert investigations efficiently under strict timelines
-
Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and FinCrime standards
🎯 Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) mandatory
-
3 to 10 years of AML/KYC screening and transaction monitoring experience
-
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with quick learning ability

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Flexibility to work night shifts and rotational weekly offs (Fri-Sat or Sun-Mon)

Familiarity with AML laws, sanctions, PEP screening, and financial crime investigations

FinCrime certifications are a plus
