Job Description/Skills Required
The Opportunity:
- Responsible to manage the Period end close and financial reporting as per IFRS requirement.
- Ensuring all the routine deliverables are managed timely and accurately.
- Review and challenge all through the accounting / reporting process.
- Provide timely PL & BS Accrual Provision and other month-end journals.
- Co-ordinate & effectively communicate with other teams in diverse locations across in-country / GFC
- Responsible for preparing and review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Ensuring all the BAU activities are done timely and accurately
- Responsible and support for Month end close activities
- Checking and monitoring the integrity of the ledger by clearing variances on a timely basis
- Review Subsystems for accuracy and ensure reconciling items are researched in a timely manner.
- Requires strong excel and analytical skills
- Should be well versed with the key requirement of Risk & Control
- Require to identify the source of adhoc / new requirement, building process to meet new requirements on regular basis and developing controls to ensure data integrity
- Responsible for meeting the defined SLAs, managing good relationship with the customer, maintaining and developing robust controls in the process
- Ensuring adherence to control in BAU process and keeping EUCs / SOPs updated.
- Be a team player in supporting any other FA activities, wherever applicable.
- Execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.
