Job Description/Skills Required
The Analyst will work closely with both Enterprise Analytics & Allocations team members and Business Finance teams as well as key stakeholders for Domestic Costing. The successful candidate will have accounting and performance reporting experience with proven success in a fast paced and matrixed environment. In addition, the candidate will be expected to create mutually beneficial relationships with the other divisions within Enterprise Costing team.
Specifically, The Financial Analyst Role Will
- Performing analysis of complex financial and operating data and identifies fnancial trends, patterns and issues
- Developing solutions to complex financial issues, such as INIE recovery methodologies or Volume/rate impacts
- Independently performs ad hoc financial analysis and is able to turn the analysis into meaningful, actionable information
- Provides leadership / direction on the Enterprise Cost COE processes – both written and verbal
- Evaluate strategic initiatives that may impact Finance as a whole
- Excellent ability to summarize key data for management
- Ensures adherence to compliance and risk management activities within finance related work efforts
- Ensure that correct allocation methodologies are updated on a quarterly basis across horizontals
- Determine true ups required for any Under/over recovery for individual horizontals
- Prepare reports as per business demand
- Work in a small dedicated team but with reach into other stakeholder groups
- Partner with Business Finance teams across different horizontals to ensure that the teams have a strong sense of teamwork to accomplish the goals of Enterprise Analytics & Allocations.
- Provide support to the business with various issue management related tasks or activities
- Maintain a balance between operational efficiency, effectiveness and risk mitigation in order to achieve goals
- Contribute towards Global projects as part of Transformation agenda set by the EAA team
