Wipro Blackstone COE is seeking experienced Fund Accountants to join our team in Gurgaon. This role requires individuals with a strong understanding of financial accounting and familiarity with capital markets, banking, and private equity/real estate/hedge funds.
Job Title: Fund Accountant – B1
Job Location: Gurgaon (Work from office)
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Candidates must be comfortable with both slots)
Experience Required: 1-5 Years
Domain Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting
- General understanding of capital markets, banking, and private equity/real estate/hedge funds
- Hands-on experience with systems related to private equity/real estate/hedge funds
- Knowledge of processes such as accounting, investor reporting, capital calls, distribution, and financial statements
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling operations related to private equity/real estate/hedge funds including fund/financial accounting, journal posting, and preparation of financial statements
- Managing tasks related to management fee, carried interest, expense calculation and posting
- Preparing capital call memos, tracking funding, and managing distributions
- Performing cash reconciliation, tracking capital transactions, and valuing portfolio investments
- Preparing and submitting fund and investor reports accurately within the agreed SLA
