Role Overview
In this role, you will support financial accounting and control functions across business lines by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial data and reporting. You will work closely with finance leaders and cross-functional teams while exercising independent judgment within Wells Fargo’s internal control framework.
Key Responsibilities

Support financial accounting activities for business and control functions

Review and maintain ledger accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports

Gather and validate financial data from general ledger and reporting systems

Ensure data accuracy across financial and regulatory submissions

Apply internal control policies while resolving accounting and reporting issues
-
Collaborate with peers, managers, and stakeholders to achieve business goals
Required Qualifications
-
6+ months experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, or Risk Reporting
(Experience may be demonstrated through work, education, training, or military service)
Desired Qualifications

6+ years experience in a data-focused role within financial services

Strong understanding of financial products, risk, and control environments

Experience owning processes end-to-end and leading small teams

Hands-on expertise in data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualified CA / CFA / ICWA / MBA

Experience with AxiomSL or similar enterprise financial reporting systems

Exposure to data science tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Python, R, ML-based anomaly detection)
