Job Description/Skills Required
- A Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Two to four years of relevant work experience.
- Two or more years of software engineering experience, including Java, Python, and/or related languages.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, Dataflow.
- Experience with data architecture, data governance, data migration and data reconciliation processes.
- ETL or Data cleansing & normalizing
- Big Data, data analysis, log mining, and automated reporting
- Deep knowledge of Data Modeling / Gap Analysis
- Experience doing query performance tuning
- Knowledge of microservices and Google Kubernetes Engine
- Drive complete delivery at offshore with Google big query, ETL/Data migration, Python and Kubernettes micro services experience.
- Design, build and support Data processing pipelines and APIs
- Design and implement ETL mappings and workflows.
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
- Collaborate with other data engineers.
- Ensure that code adheres to defined standards and best practices for performance, speed, scalability, and quality
- Practice Agile development methods and exemplify core Agile values of transparency, collaboration, acceptance of change, and iterative development
