Bank of America is hiring a Team Leader with expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation for its Hyderabad location. This senior role requires a candidate with 4-6+ years of experience in core Balance Sheet reconciliations or related processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Account Reconciliation Policy (ARP) and Account Reconciliation Standards (ARS), reviewing reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts, and meeting process SLAs in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation Review: Ensure all reconciliations are performed as per established procedures and standard policies, adhering to ARP and ARS.
- Account Understanding: Maintain a thorough understanding of balance sheet account transactions and ensure these are documented in process procedures.
- SLA Adherence: Meet the targets assigned in accordance with SLAs, ensuring rigorous follow-up with the Line of Business (LOB) on open items.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of reconciliation is maintained according to predefined parameters and that any breaks or issues are promptly investigated and reported.
- Process Improvement: Identify potential areas for process improvements, risk reduction, or non-compliance, and escalate these to the supervisor.
- Reporting: Provide relevant process reports on a daily basis and respond to internal and external audit queries via email or telephone.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Com/M.Com/MBA with at least 4-6 years of experience in Balance Sheet Accounting and Reconciliation or a similar function.
- Experience: A strong background in Balance Sheet reconciliation is essential, with the ability to communicate and explain account activities effectively.
- Certifications: While not mandatory, exposure to Six Sigma and other quality improvement tools would be an added advantage.
