Job Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will work closely with SBI Bank branches to generate insurance business through the Bancassurance channel.
Key Responsibilities
Branch-Based Sales
- Work exclusively within assigned SBI Bank branches.
- Generate insurance sales through branch customer interactions.
- Promote SBI General Insurance products to bank customers.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly sales targets and performance goals.
- Identify potential customers and convert leads into business.
- Increase insurance product penetration within assigned branches.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with:
- SBI branch staff
- Customers
- Internal teams
- Maintain long-term customer engagement and satisfaction.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with branch managers and banking teams.
- Support smooth policy issuance and customer servicing.
