Job Description/Skills Required
- Accountable for all elements of the day to day relationship with our partner HAL and continuously improving this relationship to build a strong foundation for future growth.
- Ensuring all teams within the Global RR Defence organisation have a thorough understanding of their accountabilities to deliver on commitments to HAL and the Armed forces
- Driving to find solutions to commitment delivery challenges for both organisations.
- Managing Rolls-Royce and HAL partnership governance activity and maintain compliance and delivery of contractual obligations
- Develop an understanding of the Indian defence market, customers and partners and support capturing insights to improve business positioning and competitiveness
- Work with other Defence functions in India in a collaborative manner to enable a meaningful participation in the Indian Defence eco-system
- Support the VP Business Development to define and execute the growth strategy for Defence in assigned markets. Focus on supporting Airframers for future platforms acquisitions
- Support securing new business opportunities and the delivery order intake, revenue and cash targets
