Job Description:
RRD Is looking for highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant with 2-10 years of experience in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) general ledger accounts and property accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing general ledger activities for real estate properties and be proficient in industry-specific accounting software, including Yardi, MRI, and RealPage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain REIT general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements related to property accounting.
- Handle month-end and year-end close processes for property accounts.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with property management teams to provide accurate financial reporting and support.
- Utilize Yardi, MRI, and RealPage software for property accounting functions, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in REIT general ledger accounts and property accounting.
- Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, and RealPage software is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
