Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments as per the approved audit plan.
- Independently conduct branch audits.
- Perform risk assessments and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Review financial records, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare audit reports with clear observations and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain audit checklists, working papers, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and governance processes.
Travel Requirements
This role involves extensive travel across India as part of the audit assignments.
- Travel for approximately 3–4 weeks every month from April to December.
- Minimal or no travel during January to March.
- Travel schedules are communicated in advance (generally by the 10th of the previous month) for better planning.
- Auditors typically return to Mumbai by Friday evening.
- Travel arrangements are provided by the company, including:
- Air travel or AC Second Class rail travel (depending on location)
- Cab arrangements for last-mile connectivity
