– Master the daily reconciliation between Geneva and Custodian/Prime Broker accounts.
– Champion monthly investigations into reconciliation discrepancies and independently resolve any transaction issues.
– Exhibit expert-level knowledge of fund accounting, including trade booking, cash reporting, exception analysis, and asset and cash reconciliation.
📊 **Financial Reporting Wizardry:**
– Compile comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages for Hedge Funds.
– Determine “Net Asset Value” with precision, contributing to accurate financial insights.
💰 **Capital Activities Maestro:**
– Process capital activities flawlessly, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and more.
– Ensure timely and accurate management of daily cash flow and trade-related cash movements.
**Requirements:**
🎓 **Educational Excellence:**
– Hold a university degree or equivalent with a focus on Finance/Accounting principles.
– Possess a solid foundation in financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and the operations of capital markets.
💼 **Experience Expertise:**
– Bring at least 2+ years of experience in accounting for financial instruments.
– Demonstrate proficiency in data entry and MS-Excel, including advanced features like Formulas, Pivot tables, and Charting.
– Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills honed through service-oriented roles.
