Job Role or Description
- You will be based in our Chennai or Bengaluru office as part of our Finance Global Operations (FGO) team within McKinsey Global Services (MGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of McKinsey & Company in India. FGO has more than 300 colleagues supporting 70+ offices across the globe. Always uphold Firms values. Maintain high ethical standards at work and raise concerns if there is a violation observed. Coordinate with Office Finance, Global Procurement, Approvers & Systems Support to perform appropriate accounting and to ensure on time payment to vendors. Deliver the expected quality of work and adhere to the SLAs consistently. Research and resolve queries of various stakeholders via e-mail and phone calls (internal clients, suppliers, internal and external auditors) within agreed SLAs. Handle the Pending Approvals follow-up with offices on invoices via e-mail/phone calls as per agreed SLAs. Support YE accrual process, uncashed checks, statement reviews, tax filing etc. Desired Candidate Profile : * Graduate in Finance/Accounting * 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a multinational shared services environment (preferably from a customer service background) helpdesk management (e-mail and calls). * Good knowledge in MS Office Applications, particularly in Excel. * Flexibility to work in shifts covering all regions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
