Summary of Vacancy- Senior Specialist- Direct tax

Job Role or Description

• Timely and accurate preparation/ review of corporate income tax, withholding tax and freight tax returns. Data collection, preparation, processing, analysis, exception checking & reconciliations in relation to direct tax returns, tax payments, group tax reporting and statutory tax disclosures. Maintenance of evidence to support tax filing and positions. Assist in managing the tax function, including developing and implementing strategies, practices/protocols and planning opportunities. Monitor and manage international tax compliance process and outside consultants for all foreign entities. Review and research international tax questions for tax planning, accounting and compliance purposes Assist in reporting for international activities, including reconciliations and true ups. Collating data and preparing reports, reconciliations and responses to information requests from management, tax authorities and auditors. Supporting the operation, monitoring and reporting of corporate income tax and related accounting controls, data quality improvement and key performance measures. Ensuring effective, pro-active communication with external and internal stakeholders as necessary, including Tax Global Process Owner, third-party advisors and owners of upstream processes such as ATR, statutory financial statements and group accounting within the wider global finance organization.
