Job Description/Skills Required
- General Accounting
- a) Preparation of Financials on a Monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- b) Ledger Scrutiny comprises of Trial Balances, Profit and Loss, and Balance sheets of the business.
- c) Handling statutory Audits on a quarterly basis by providing information to Auditors and Corporate Accounts team.
- Direct and Indirect tax compliances:
- a) Ensuring compliance with applicable direct and Indirect tax laws
- b) Ensuring necessary registrations wherever required
- c) Filing of requisite tax returns with accurate information in time bound manner
- d) Handling tax audits, assessments, etc. (incl. providing information on Corporate Taxation)
- e) Developing a System and or Issuing guidelines/checklist for the tax compliance
- Customer Interface:
- d) To raise timely Invoices on the customer / IU advice on L&T units
- e) To track the outstanding and its collection
- f) Ensuring the necessary information/reports to management / corporate and other compliances
- Vendor management (P2P):
- To monitor vendor bill booking (thru SSC ITMS portal) and payment thereof (Including capex)
- a) Timely receipt of Vendor Invoicing
- b) Capturing information in SAP
- c) Ensuring system-based controls
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Basic knowledge of statutory dues TDS, GST returns, GST Refunds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
