Job Description/Skills Required
- Accruals – Record accruals & prepaids to ensure that expenses are recognized in the appropriate period in accordance with US GAAP and JPMC Standards.
- Accrual Review Meetings with F&BM – The purpose of the meeting is to (1) provide transparency into the accruals being recorded and (2) ensure accruals are complete and accurate
- Accounting for Internally developed software.
- Fixed asset set up, clearing the Fixed asset related WIP GL balances, Fixed asset impairment reviews etc.
- Fortress Balance Sheet – Ensure balance sheet positions are appropriately supported.
- Review Month over Month actual results to ensure significant fluctuations are reasonable based on underlying activity.
- Analytics are documented in various forms including Estimates, Walk-forwards, Controllers financial reviews, Flash reports etc.
