Job Role or Description
As a controller professional in our Alternatives Financial Controllers team for Commercial Mortgage Loans product you will be working with an established team and support a large institutional High Yield Portfolio.Job Responsibilities
- Monthly review of NAV package, analysis, valuation review and calculate fund performance like IRR and total returns
- Review of Fund financial statements and NAV pricing along with coordination for fund audit, tax filings, valuation, and board meeting
- Handle internal management reporting , client reporting and board materials
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts like investment valuation, derivatives, loan loss reserves, debt valuation, hedge accounting, book value accounting
- Review and facilitate funding requests
- Work with fund administration to resolve cash and position breaks and coordinate capital calls
- Other financial procedures and ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Qualified CA /MBA with experience of 10 years in Fund accounting or Fund reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting policies and concepts.
- Understanding of Real Estate Business and experience in review of Financial Statements and variance analysis.
- Good analytical skills, eye for number, Strong accounting knowledge and Detail oriented
- Good communication skills, both written and oral and ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to work in pressure situations and prioritize key tasks effectively.
- Project management, ability to manage and organize resources, conduct effective presentations, facilitate meetings and gain consensus around issues.
