Qualification : Commerce Graduate / Post Graduate (B.Com, BBM, M.Com / MBA -Finance)

Experience : Min 2 years exp for Assistant Accountant
Min 3 years exp for Accountant
Perform day to day Accounts Payable activities with required speed and accuracy (invoice processing, T&E Claims processing, vendor queries, invoice exception resolution, Invoice reconciliation, closing activities and reporting)
Follow the documented procedures, understanding of Client processes, active team player with good communication and documentation skills
Support the team to coordinate with other departments to obtain information about transactions and research unreconciled items
Support the preparation of External and Internal Audit requests
Fill-in various reports under area of responsibility including regular reporting
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Support ongoing projects for the implementation of technology solutions
Support requests from partner Finance departments
Process Specialist: RTR Fixed Asset Settlement
Telecommunications Engineering, technical or IT architect background preferred
At least 2 years experience working in the telecommunications or IT industry.
Work with the business to understand their projects and what they are constructing and how it relates to client asset structure
Preparation of asset settlement templates and working with the business to advise them on how to complete and align their project spend with client asset structure
Review submitted asset settlement templates for validity against asset structure and capitalization rules
Load settlement templates into SAPphire, including validation of load and posting of correct costs
Maintain close contact with Local Teams, Group Accounting, FP&A and your line of business contacts;
Coordinate with other departments to obtain information about project costs and research alignment to client assets;
Lead and participate in cross-functions ad hoc projects and tasks assigned.
Support and preparation of Internal and external quality/audit requests
Identify the process improvement opportunities and support their implementation
Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion and perseverance.
Process Lead RTR Fixed Asset Settlement:
University graduate with minimum of 15 years of education with Bachelors/Masters Degree in commerce/ Accounting / Intermediate Accountants preferred
5 to 8 years working experience in F&A activities with minimum 3 years in General Ledger team management with an understanding of Fixed Asset management and technical accounting
Ownership and accountability for the teams overall performance.
Resource planning, Work allocation, Load balancing and ensure seamless delivery of Project Settlement services as per the agreement
Preparation of monthly reports such as volume (quantity and value) of settlements, WIP movements and activities undertaken to understand Telstras assets and asset related policies
Ability to track and reporting performance across Project Settlement services as per the agreed SOP and SLAs
Adherence to Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management Plans.
Deploy and monitor process controls and compliances with ability to put necessary risk mitigation
Ability to solve practical and theoretical problems and effectively deal with exceptions.
Team player, high degree of self-management, enthusiasm, drives to perform, Self-starter and motivate teamwork.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and efficiently with all stake holders
Ability to identify pain areas in the process and drive improvement ideas within team and ensure implementation.
Prepare RCA and Corrective and Preventive measures for any quality issues.

• Perform day to day Accounts Receivable activities with required speed and accuracy (Cash application, refunds processing, customer queries, exception resolution, customer reconciliation, period closure and reporting)
• Processing Channel commissions – validation and payment
• Act as SME for the AR process
• Create and analyze various reports with regards to the cash application related topics including regular reporting
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Follow the documented procedures, understanding of Client processes, active team player with good communication and documentation skills
• Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management
• Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar
• Identify the improvement opportunities and support their implementation
