Job description
- Evaluation of Fabric Test Report, Garment Test Reports for assigned categories.
- Review and feedback sharing of development samples, Pre-Production samples.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely submission of Pre-Production samples and applicable test reports.
- Recording keeping and maintenance approved samples and all relevant test reports pertaining to products/
- Review and improvisation of incoming material quality inspection process.
- Procurement support for Made to Measure Uniforms.
- Design and implement the Supplier Quality Score Card & regular review of SOPs for Incoming material quality inspection
- Regular meeting with staff /Uniform SPOCS to discuss areas of improvement.
- Assist with proper documentation/information internal/external audits.
- Assist warehouse Quality Inspection Team for material clearance as per the agreed timelines & GRN completion process.
- Regular visit to warehouse.
- Generation and circulation of periodic reports for Sample development (Uniform) and approval.
- Assist in resolving accounts payable invoice discrepancies and variances.
- Laise with account Payable and warehouse team for invoice related query resolution, if any.
- PO generation and reconciliation with suppliers and planners/warehouse team.
Educational Qualification- Graduate/Postgraduate in Textile, Fashion Design.
Professional Qualification/knowledge – Should have basic knowledge of Quality Inspection and Quality control Process for Fabric and leather
Work Experience -Relevant/ Total Years 2-4 Yrs. in Incoming material QC for Textile products, Product specifications development and supplier quality assessment.
IT skills – MS Office, Excel and Advanced Excel Skills, SAP MM Module, ARIBA (P2P & S2P), viz. Corel Draw and other relevant software for merchandising.Additional / Specific Licenses Required (if any) – Understanding of ISO/ASTM standards for fabric and leather.
Behavioral Competencies – Excellent Business communication (spoken and written) skills.
Should be a team player.
Ability to identify and set priorities.
Should be flexible and work independently
