Job Description – Senior Analyst Corporate Finance

RPSG Group is looking for a skilled Corporate Finance professional to work closely with the Vice President – Corporate Functions. The selected candidate will support performance reviews of group power companies, regulatory finance matters, M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives across the Power Division.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational performance of power companies through MIS, dashboards, budgets and business plans.
• Conduct peer benchmarking and financial variance analysis.
• Support regulatory finance activities, including ARR, tariff petitions and MYT filings.
• Review regulatory orders and assess their financial implications.
• Evaluate acquisition and business growth opportunities.
• Conduct financial, commercial and regulatory due diligence.
• Develop financial models and valuation models.
• Prepare investment notes and management presentations.
• Research industry, policy and regulatory developments.
• Prepare concise reports, presentations and management review notes.
• Support strategic decision-making across the Power Division.

Eligibility Criteria

• CA qualification preferred, or CA Intermediate.
• CA candidates: 3+ years of relevant experience.
• CA Intermediate candidates: The advertisement states 5–6 years of experience.
• Experience in Big 4, consulting or advisory firms is preferred.
• Power sector experience is an advantage.
• Experience supporting MD / CEO offices is also preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MIS and business research.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI-based productivity tools.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.

Educational Qualification

Preferred Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Any Specialization.
• CA Intermediate.
