Job Description – Research Analyst
CRISIL is looking for a Research Analyst to conduct equity research on companies operating in the banking sector. The selected candidate will analyze financial performance, develop financial models, evaluate market trends and provide investment recommendations to clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct equity research on companies in the banking sector to identify investment opportunities.
- Develop financial models to analyze company performance and forecast future growth.
- Analyze banking industry trends, financial statements and market developments.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports summarizing findings and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with sales teams to present research findings.
- Support sales teams in pitching investment ideas to potential clients.
- Monitor banking sector developments and regulatory changes.
- Provide meaningful financial insights to support investment decisions.
Eligibility Criteria
- 1–4 years of experience in equity research or a related field.
- Experience in finance, economics or financial research is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the banking sector.
- Knowledge of banking market trends and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in financial modelling using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent research and report-writing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
