Accounts Payable – Responsibilities
Candidates applying for AP roles should have knowledge of:
- Reviewing and processing invoices and resolving invoice-related issues.
- Releasing invoices for payment.
- Understanding 3-way matching, Non-PO and GRN processes.
- Processing Non-PO and utility invoices.
- Invoice auditing and payment processing.
- Working with SAP, Navision or other ERP systems.
Record to Report – Responsibilities
R2R candidates will be responsible for:
- Reporting and financial consolidations.
- Preparing quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements.
- Reviewing and posting month-end journal entries.
- Performing month-end close activities.
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Managing quarterly intercompany processes.
- Resolving balancing items.
- Applying accounting knowledge related to closing and reporting.
- Managing multiple stakeholders/partners.
- Ensuring smooth monthly close and reporting activities.
Order to Cash – Responsibilities
O2C candidates should have strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, including:
- Posting daily receipts such as wires, ACH, checks and credit/debit memos.
- Maintaining accurate Accounts Receivable balances.
- Coordinating with collections and business partners to obtain remittance details.
- Identifying and manually tagging customer remittance discrepancies and short payments.
- Supporting testing and process improvement activities.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve AR processes.
- Using shared mailboxes and customer web portals to retrieve and organize remittance information.
