Job Description/Skills Required
- Mandatory Skills
- Required Responsibilities:
- Required overall experience of 8+ to 10 years
- Experience building on AWS using S3, Athena, redshift, Glue, EMR, EKS, Lambda, Airflow, KAFKA etc preferred.
- Strong Python programming skill
- Experience in batch and streaming pipeline development
- Experience with Hive, Pyspark and Python are preferred.
- Good data warehouse development skill with excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Experience using software version control tools (Git)
- Experience with AWS platform development using Terraform and cloud formation templates.
- AWS certifications or other related professional technical certifications
- 1+ years of work experience with very large data warehousing environment
- 1+ years of experience data modelling concepts
- 2+ years of Python and/or Java development experience
- 1+ years of experience in Test Driven Development for Pyspark code
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal).
- Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
- Adaptable to new technologies and standards.
- Experience working with other engineers in defining data engineering best practices and leveraging software development life cycle best practices such as agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, design, and implementation of data projects in AWS cloud.
- Conduct design and analysis applying a multi-disciplinary approach to deliver next-generation technology and services to cloud platforms.
- — Effectively apply relevant knowledge and experience to provide both technical and operational support to new and existing data implementation efforts.
- — Implementation of complex data ingestion and transformation pipelines for various data domains
