Job Role or Description
- Ensure the following accounting activities are conducted timely, accurately, & to Dow’s standard and to US GAAP/Ind AS:
- Day to day accounting
- Monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities
- Monthly/Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation in Black Line application
- Quarterly flux analysis (comparing current period trial balance with prior period and provide explanation for significant fluctuations)
- Support in preparation of financial statements as per Local GAAP including statutory audit schedules.
- Support in special projects such as mergers / demergers etc.
- Support internal audits, tax, transfer pricing audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements / automations to achieve productivity gains
