✔ SOC Experience (Mandatory)

Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Managed Security Services (MSS), or enterprise security environment

Experience as an escalation point for incidents

Strong client-facing communication & reporting skills
✔ SIEM & Security Technologies

Proficiency in SIEM platforms like QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm, McAfee/Nitro, ArcSight

Data analysis using SIEM, database tools & Excel

Ability to create, maintain & optimize SIEM content

Experience troubleshooting security devices & SIEM
✔ IDS, EDR & Malware Knowledge

IDS monitoring using tools such as Snort, Sourcefire

Experience with CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, etc.

Understand malware behavior, root causes & mitigation

Knowledge of APTs, exploit kits & web-based attack methods
✔ Cyberattacks & Threat Landscape

Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, DoS, brute-force attacks, HTTP-based DoS, system/network-based attacks

Understanding of covert channels, egress paths & data exfiltration
✔ Security Controls & Frameworks

Familiarity with SANS Top 20 Critical Controls, system hardening & enterprise Windows security

Understanding of CVSS, vulnerability scanners & exploitation frameworks
