Job Description/Skills Required
In this role, you’ll be expected to work with the Asset Management team based out of U.S. and Hyderabad offices and assist the teams for seamless delivery of asset management activities/deliverables related to Land Lease Management. You’ll have to collaborate with internal and external teams to drive, land lease process portfolio level. You’ll be required to maintain lease payable & receivable database including not limited to maintain lessor & lessee’s terms as per the lease contracts, maintain lease payment calculation factoring escalations, track lease payments or receivables. You’ll be maintaining the land information on inhouse ERP application, validating the accuracy on system generated lease invoices, generating manual invoices as needed, and integrating invoices with accounting ERP for payment processing. As a part of this role, you’ll have an opportunity to collaborate with broader groups including developers, asset managers, Accounts Payables team, Treasury team, Accounting team and other parties to ensure lease payable and receivables are processed as per schedule. You’ll be required to develop and generate periodic management reports as needed by different groups in the organization. You’ll also be expected to work closely with cross-functional team(s) on portfolio-wide processes, including (but not limited to) lease invoicing, payment tracking & reconciliations, assist request from stakeholders including landowners, track and maintain any legal amendment. Additionally, you’ll work on streamlining workflows, improve efficiency and create related process manual(s) to help in structuring of the work processes. You’ll have to maintain and track the contractual obligations and work closely with Tax team to ensure compliance of the terms. Further, you’ll be responsible for co-ordination with the internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new projects into our database and assist with annual audit process.
Who We’re Looking For
- The ideal candidates should be post-graduates or MBAs with one to two years of relevant work experience preferably in land lease management experience in the renewable energy space, and a good understanding of real estate land lease
- The candidates with experience in interacting with front office teams as well as external parties including landowners, third-party consultants, and local authorities
- Candidates who have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work independently with limited direction and guidance
- Candidates with ability to think ahead, anticipate questions, plan for contingencies, find alternative solutions, and make judgments regarding workflow will be preferred
- The ideal candidates should have good working knowledge of lease invoicing, payments, and receivable.
- Candidates who possess exceptional project and time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
