Job Description:
Maintenance of records and finalisation of accounts (IGAAP and IFRS)
– Responsible for maintaining book records in accordance with IGAAP.
– Statutory audit coordination and finalization of accounts as per IGAAP.
– Review of GL and cost centers during month-end and year-end closing.
– Review and prepare balance sheet (BS) and profit and loss (PL) account reconciliations,
schedules, and notes to accounts.
– Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare reports in designated formats
for group companies.
– COS deviations reporting, Inventory allowances working and reporting
– Responsible for confirmation of inter-company balances.
– Preparation, update and review accounting processes and process documents/SOPs.
Tax related compliances
– Review and submit monthly and annual Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
– Prepare and submit tax audit reports, income tax returns, and TDS returns.
– Coordinate tax audits and transfer pricing (TP) audits and submit audit reports in timely manner.
– Review TP invoice workings as per the TP arrangement with the Group.
– Provide support to consultants in handling income tax, TP, and GST assessments.
Other Accounting and Finance responsibilities
– Perform high-level Financial Statement Analysis (BS & PL).
– Perform reconciliations (BRS, Sales/Revenue, Inventory, GL, BSR etc.).
– Participate in budget and estimate preparation and analysis.
– Rolling cash flow forecasting.
– Verify payments, including statutory payments.
– Cost controlling initiatives and process improvements.
– Prepare management reports.
– Provide support to Head of Finance & Legal as per business needs.
General Staff Responsibilities

Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant qualification is a must.
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience post qualification.
- Handled various company statutory/ tax audits during articleship.
- Handled Income tax and GST related compliances.
- Experience in bookkeeping, reporting and financial analysis as per prevailing IGAAP
- Demonstrated ability to be an early adopter of advancements in the finance field.
- Excellent planning skills and effective implementation of plans.
- Unquenchable curiosity to learn and try new initiatives for mutual growth.
- Ability to actively listen and accept feedback objectively.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to adapt.
- Good understanding about process flow in ERP system (SAP will be preferred)
- Effective in communication and presentation skills (English compulsory)
- Good knowledge of IGAAP and IFRS preferred
- Experience from product based industry is desirable
