Job Description/Skills Required
This position is responsible for execution & analysis of the daily, Quarterly, annual and change request Transfer Price processes across multiple IT/ERP platforms. This role requires a balance of technical and systems knowledge along with analytical, communication, managerial and organization skills. This is a very global role, dealing with all poles and operating units within GE Healthcare.
This role is going to be based out Bangalore, India.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Monitor & validate accuracy of Transfer Prices computed in the system through Daily & Annual processes.
- Collaborate with site finance, modality, item master, and tax teams on TP availability to ensure no shipment delay.
- Ability to successfully transition processes & improvement initiatives from the functional & projects team.
- Support acquisitions and new inventory org/site integrations to Market Maker and Oracle.
- Provide technical guidance & training to GEHC manufacturing sites and business modalities to ensure understanding of Transfer Pricing processes.
- Manage SOPs on Inter-company operations (TP Module) processes
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of six years of financial work experience
- Thorough understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting & management, Transfer Pricing methodologies; please note that the technical interview(s) will focus in this area.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered accountant or Cost Accountant or equivalent professional designation
- Understanding of the cost accounting modules of ERPs like Oracle, PeopleSoft or SAP will be preferred.
- Understanding of Measurement & Transfer Pricing tools used in general.
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Clear thinking / problem solving successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
- Excellent PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Market Maker, Microsoft Access & Excel, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel and Access skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, ability to efficiently manage large data sets (>1 Million records))
- SQL expertise will be an added plus
- Experience working in global business environment across time zones with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
- Good understanding of financial compliance: Corporate Governance Standards, Indian/International Accounting Standards, GAAP & SOX
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
