Job Role or Description
- Experience of financial reporting under US GAAP/ UK GAAP/IFRS/ Luxemburg GAAP and various other GAAPs. Past working experience in accounting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting would be an added advantage • Experience in preparation of financial statements/ financial reporting/ fund accounting • Basics of accounting knowledge (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statement) especially for hedge funds and mutual funds • Understanding of international GAAP and banking or fund management sector will be an added advantage • Professionals with industry experience or experience in US GAAP/ UK GAAP/ Luxemburg GAAP, IFRS, accounting advisory would be preferred • Possess strong domain knowledge, has strong financial reporting and accounting foundation skills • Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process • Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantage • Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills) • Ability to work well in teams • Working knowledge of MS Office applications and exposure to tools like Fund Suite, Fund Suite Arc will also be an added advantage • Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours • Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time • Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethics
