Job Description/Skills Required
- Finance & Month Close
- Delivery of the end to end financials across a Transaction Cycle/Function:
- Providing the analysis to support business decisions and financial strategy for the Transaction Cycle/Function, ensuring delivery is to plan and budget, supporting the bank’s overall business strategy and cost base objectives
- Work with FBPs to deliver the monthly financials for profit and loss and balance sheet
- To understand the GL postings each month and to ensure the month end is done in a timely manner. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations post the month end with commentary
- Ensure adherance to cost controllership guidelines
- Provide the analysis and support the drafting of insights & commentary of MoM/other variances with clear linkages to drivers
- Managing the hierarchy in terms of creation, amenedment , closure & rationalisation, etc.
- Work with the Centres of Excellence to ensure full alignment to BX operating model
- Have oversight of and ensure adherence / alignment to all global / local regulatory and statutory requirements
- Ensure best in class, efficient and robust controls are adhered to at all times
