Career Opportunities: Controllership seeks an Accounting and Finance professional to own Financial Reporting and Analytics, ensuring financial statements are accurate for inbound, middle mile, and outbound transportation. About the Team: The Transportation Controllership team handles Financial Reporting, Financial Control Frameworks, and Advanced Analytics for transportation, partnering closely with transportation business units and tech teams to support Amazon’s rapid growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- Expertise in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
- Experience in accounts receivable/payable
- Applying KPIs to analyses
- Building financial and operational reports/data sets
- Creating process improvements with automation and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Continuous improvement project experience
- Identifying and resolving data inaccuracies
- MBA or CPA
- Experience with large-scale data mining/reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
