Job Description/Skills Required
- Responsible for finalization of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual accounts within Group timeline and high-level accuracy.
- Review book hygiene and effective internal financial control on key parameters like ageing, tax compliance etc.
- Responsible to check legal contracts & clauses from financial perspective.
- Assist Head of Finance in day-to-day operations to devise proper accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Review and getting monthly tax returns submission before end of the following month without errors.
- Ensuring adherence of closing schedule of accounts and data submission to auditors for review
- Having good knowledge of AP, AR, Balance sheets, P&L, MIS Reports, and day-to-day accounting.
- Handling fund planning and daily fund Management, ensuring timely payments to various stakeholders.
- Drive compliance of all F&A policies and guidelines within the business (e.g., MSME, GST, Bank accounts, Expense booking in same month etc.
- Drive performance improvement / cost control initiatives coming out of FP&A
- Forecast, standard cost for each item and monitor variances.
- Accountable for timely and accurate submission of reports to corporate and management.
- Analyze variances vs. budget, previous month and forecast, prepare proper / specific reason for each variance, and ensure accrual in line with group policy.
- Identifying areas of cost optimization and work closely with business improvement team to ensure accurate productivity monitoring vs budget.
- Responsible for ERP implementation as and when required and secure information accuracy and mapping on financial perimeter: assets, operations expenses, costing.
- Drive yearly business budgeting process with a high degree of precision and timeliness by working closely with the various teams viz. marketing, business development, operations, and services.
- Leading financial nodal/ current accounts settlement process between company and other business units
- Interface with Corporate Secretarial for Secretarial compliance matters
