Job Description/Skills Required
This role specializes in support of the Project Accounting (PA), Fixed Assets (FA), and Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) workflow under the Record to Report (RTR) function of GFSS organization. The primary responsibilities include supporting the month-end closing process for capital expenditures & fixed asset related USGAAP and secondary ledger accounting. Additional responsibilities include supporting the configurations for PA, FA, and the Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) as the subledgers under RTR. This role will also support project testing, transition service agreement billing, and finance service catalog case escalations”
- Lead PAFA Month-End Close from an Oracle/SAP R12 system standpoint, including coordination with Control M team and downstream financial systems (HFM/Encore)
- Lead subject matter expert on Project Accounting/Fixed Asset system or processing issues, working with Pune, Suzhou and Brazil teams to continue to expand knowledge in these areas
- Supports all Configuration/BR100 updates for Project Accounting and Fixed Assets documentation, including Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) for PA and FA
- Ensures proper integration of Oracle FA and PA subledgers to the General Ledger, providing accurate financial reporting
- Key PAFA representative in the full range of small projects implementation
- Participates in project implementations, serving as key PAFA SME or Project Team member
- Support PAFA testing of Oracle/SAP system patches, upgrades and new functionality
- AGIS Supprot -BR100 support for new Oracle/SAP recipients/Interface monitoring in Qlikview, Becs and Sterling integrator”
