Summary of Vacancy- Financial Accountant

Job Role or Description

• Payroll accounting – Validate the payroll entry file and do checks and balances to provide assurance on the accuracy and correctness of the accounting entries
• Actuarial valuation – Liaise with HR and the actuarial valuers to ensure timely sending of the required data to ensure the actuarial valuation of Gratuity and Leave as per the required timelines
• Imports and Exports database – Regular review of the pending submissions received from the bank on the Imports and Exports and taking timely remedial steps to ensure their redressal
• Cash Flow statements & Payments- Ensuring monthly preparation and review of the cash flow statements as a means to ensure adequate funds are available across all the SEZ units to meet the forecasted expenses. The role will also include managing all domestic and import payments, including documentation, interacting with signatories and banks
• Fixed deposits – Deployment of surplus money into the Fixed deposits with the onboarded banks and monitoring of the same. This also includes the monthly reconciliation of the balances as per the bank statement with the General ledger
• Conducting reviews of all processes being handled to ensure they are being done without any gaps. This also includes identification of any opportunities for process improvement and implementation of the same post approval from the Manager
• Audits – To assist in all audits (Statutory, Tax, Internal, Adhoc) by submission of required information in a timely manner
