Job Overview:
UltraTech Knowledge Services Centre (UKSC) aims to introduce a best-in-class shared services centre with a focus on governance, efficiency, digital transformation, process optimization, and the adoption of best practices. UKSC centralizes finance and accounts operations within UTCL units to bring in efficiency, effective service delivery, and optimal deployment of resources.
Job Description:
Process Transformation / Standardization
- Provide ideas for process & system improvements regularly.
- Conduct UAT for process/system changes and provide inputs accordingly to the Process Head (PH).
Verification & Invoicing of Bills
- Scrutinize all invoices received against necessary supporting documents as per SOP.
- Coordinate with mailroom agents and users at locations/plants for incomplete supporting documents.
- Ensure a 3-way match and all necessary verifications before processing invoices.
- Account for all advance adjustments, update payment terms as per PO, and calculate penalties or debits.
- Ensure MIGO updating in the system for bills as specified in SOP.
- Provide unbooked invoices by month-end for provisioning by the R2R team.
- Respond to helpdesk team queries regarding invoices.
Review & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly inter-unit reconciliation for RMC and submit reports to the R2R team.
- Review pending DI for freight bills and highlight to users regularly.
- Upgrade knowledge on various processes at UKSC to perform tasks effectively and efficiently.
Risk Management & Governance
- Ensure all adjustments for TDS are accounted for while booking invoices.
- Update accurate GST codes and ensure necessary updates for holding GST amounts for certain vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Commerce/Finance Graduate/Post Graduate (B.Com/BBA/M.Com/MBA-Finance)
- Experience: 2-8 years in Indian accounting
Shift and Job Location:
- Shift: 9:30 AM to 06:30 PM (5 days working, Saturday and Sunday off)
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra
