Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end analytical results, both as part of a team and independently.
- Apply strategic thinking, strong work ethic, and a passion for data and analytics, with a commitment to detail.
- Maintain an organized and disciplined approach to consistently generate high-quality outputs.
- Analyze operational and commercial performance of United’s schedule and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and margins.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans focused on maximizing long-term margin potential for the network.
- Assess fleet deployment strategies to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
- Ensure operability of the short-term schedule.
- Support the team in continuously refining and advancing analytical methodologies.
- Develop and prepare presentations for United leadership and external stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on United Airlines’ route network and fleet deployment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated comfort and intellectual curiosity for solving various business problems using a data-driven approach.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship.
- Fluent in English.
- Successful interview completion is required to meet job qualifications.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential for the position.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in Statistics or Engineering is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience.
- Practical experience with Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
- Proficiency in database querying tools, with the ability to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or HIVE/Spark.
- Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
