About the TVS SCS Control Tower Executive Job

TVS Supply Chain Solutions is hiring Control Tower Executives to support transportation operations, vehicle tracking, shipment monitoring and logistics coordination. The selected candidates will monitor shipment movements, follow up with drivers and vendors, track delivery timelines and coordinate with internal teams to resolve transportation-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Real-Time Vehicle Monitoring

• Monitor vehicle locations and shipment status using tracking systems and technology tools.

• Make at least 100 calls per shift, as specified in the job description.

• Verify unclean Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and route them to the correct queue for clearance.
• Follow up with drivers and vendors regarding pending or unclean PODs.
• Ensure POD documents are uploaded on time.
• Resolve discrepancies related to POD documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely vendor billing.

3. Vehicle Placement and Coordination

• Ensure vehicles are placed on time by coordinating with drivers, vendors and project teams.
• Follow up with project teams to ensure vehicles move only with printed LR copies.
• Monitor vehicle placement status and address delays promptly.

4. Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouses and internal teams.
• Share updates on shipment status and transportation plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Identify and resolve transportation-related issues quickly.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate and updated shipment tracking information.
• Prepare reports on shipment status as required.
• Maintain transportation-related documentation.
• Ensure tracking and tracing activities follow applicable procedures and industry standards.

6. Customer Support and Issue Resolution

• Respond to queries related to trip management, vehicle tracking, POD and e-billing.
• Provide timely updates on transportation activities.
• Investigate shipment discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to improve service quality.
