Job Role or Description
- Prepare plan for monthly & quarterly closure of books of accounts & ensuring timely closure of Monthly / Quarterly /Yearly Accounts. Monitor closing activities to be performed, communicate & review the status of the plan Preparation of detailed checklist to enable financial accounting and reporting of key items in financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensuring compliance and execution of activities listed in the checklist Preparing of Four set of Financial Statements [FS] A. FS for Jsr unit B. FS for the company [TSLPL] after incorporating Joda operations. C. CFS of the Group [TSLPL] after consolidating TSIL Energy FS. D. FS for consolidating TSLPL operations with Tata Steel Standalone FS Frequency A. Monthly B. Monthly C. Quarterly D. Quarterly Preparation of monthly / Quarterly variances of Financial performance [ P&L / Balance sheet / other key nos ] of the Company Preparation of Monthly Flash report, Profit note & Cost Finance reconciliation Review of key financial numbers, cost and inventory valuations for the financial reporting purposes. Adhering to the requirement of Statutory & Internal audit agencies to ensure clearance of Financial statements as per communicated timelines. Liasoning with other departments to ensure timely closure of monthly entries to enable closure of books as per agreed timelines Co-ordinating with all F&A team members and conducting monthly F& A review meeting.
